Established in 1984 by a group of socially conscious locals, Jaya Mahila College is the only female institution in Birpur, Supaul.

Jaya Mahila College Birpur is a private higher secondary women’s institution that only accepts students in grades 11 and 12, and JMCB is a co-educational college.

Since then, the college has helped by teaching the female students that they are members of the lower middle class which makes them a weaker segment of society.
